Therein lies its glory. There is little more exciting than being free to face the unexpected. No one to consult before making an impulsive trip, no one to argue with over timing big changes, and the thrill of risking it all for your own pleasure.
Get to know who you are instead of waiting for some magical person to walk into your life and make you more adventurous, richer, nicer, smarter, sexier, or more relaxed in your own skin. Are you in a relationship because you want to be fixed, or because you want to fix someone else? Both are tricky. Neither necessarily promises a happily ever after. You are your own best friend — you can find control over your own circumstances.
