I don't know why they have this ''frescura'' nowadays to ''adapt'' a language to the same language. When I read an author I want to read it in the original. That is one of the reasons to learn some languages for me: to read the classics of literature in its original language. And yes, we have some difficulty to understand a l uso in the first minutes till we get acquainted to their accent. When we get used to it we can understand, sometimes ''guessing'' a word.
