Bt openzone how does it work
Since then. Max 2 mins. Low powered signal. Signed up for 1 month based on the speed of the marketing page. Won't do it again. Reviewer James. Comments Maybe works half the time. Won't stay connected for very long. I would hope to pay for a full month of the internet with the price it was that it would be decent speed and reliability that's a lie.
I feel scammed out of my money. Don't purchase unless absolutely necessary and maybe then look for other ways to get internet. Reviewer Nico. Comments Disgusting quality of connection, I'm paying for wifi to keep on disconnecting won't let me login through my phone for the most of the day, I have to wait around until it finally decides to conne t and thats with full bars, I beg you pay for a decent broadband, sadly virgin media isn't avaliable in my are so I had to use this garbage, never again, wish bt went bankrupt.
Reviewer Soph. Comments Scam. Paid for one day pass to have internet for a job interview. It never connects. Never was able to log in for my interview and ended up calling the recruiter by phone. This is not WiFi, it is pure scam.. Waste of money. Reviewer Giorgio. Police should investigate about. Reviewer shaun. Ratings Satisfaction 5 stars. Comments If you have ever had BT broadband and don't any longer then DO NOT buy the packages from the hotspot use your old details to access the hotspot, i had BT broadband 2 years ago then one day a hot spot was installed around 50 yards from my property so one day i tried to use my old details Bt account and it connected me with no issues now i don't even pay for my internet and further more install BTwifi app when out and about it connects you straight away no signing each time you want connected, The connection to the hotspot allows me to watch videos online and even use it to play games online, I connect my pc to the hotspot then turn my PC into a Virtual Hotspot so everyone in my home can use the internet.
Reviewer Ethan Thurkettle. Comments Broadband barely ever works no matter where we place the WiFi. Even if it does work, it's only ever slightly working thus being almost pointless, this has led me to having to burn through mobile data and completely drain it resulting in purchases for what I should already be able to do and not need to put phonecalls before the WiFi, I'd rate 0 stars if I could.
Hate BT wifi with a passion. Reviewer Dave. Comments Absolutely terrible. I'm sure there will be no refund available. Just don't waste your money with this scam. Reviewer Herbert barrott. Comments Extremely bad and grossly overpriced. Connection often unavailable and subject to frequent disconnects. Logging on fails half the time as system often does not recognise you. Very slow speed. Essentially there is no customer service just the usual roundabout of form replies. No customer service number for personal help.
Don't water your money. Reviewer Malvika. Location Newcastle upon Tyne. Comments I would give this product no stars if that was possible. A total waste of 39 pounds I took the 30 day pack. Never again. Comments Just awful! It even managed to cut me off half way through this review as if it knew what I was writing.
Reviewer MKallas. Comments This so-called service throws even awful Lebara 3G off the throne of flies. What a stinker. Most of the time you won't find reliable connection. I've literally scanned the streets of central London on emergency. And as someone stated, it disconnects randomly between 3 to max 15 minutes even if miraculously getting 4 bar service. Avoid at all cost day ask big money for this junk unless you get a free voucher or something.
Reviewer Roy Calley. Comments Absolutely useless. Bought a five day deal and it didn't work from day one. No coverage, logged me out constantly and was so slow I may have well used two tin cans and a piece of string. The worst buy ever. Reviewer Alice. Comments First and last time. What a rip off. My free WiFi on the MegaBus coming down here beats this service hands down. Reviewer Ro. Comments Extremely unreliable. Connection will randomly drop, sometimes the sign in page won't show, sometimes you won't be able to even connect to the router.
The speed is usually fine. Prone to randomly disconnecting or requiring you to sign in again literally minutes after first signing in. Reviewer Adam. Seriously - avoid at all costs. Reviewer Roxana. Comments Okay so, before moving to Birmingham, BT was alright.
Could watch videos, movies and even play games. This includes turning your router off and back on again, as well as performing a factory reset if necessary too. None of the Plusnet routers that are actually available to the public can be used as a hotspot. You can do this by using the BT app, and checking your home network. This is because the other devices are using a completely separate network to your home one. Try moving back to your previous position and see if this reconnects you.
You just have to connect via the app to do this. This will make sure that no-one can use your wifi network as a hotspot. Hey, I'm Jon. I'm an engineer by trade, so it makes sense that I'm obsessed with anything technology related! On the weekends, you can find me playing around with my computers or fixing something around the house.
BT Wi-fi including BT Openzone is a wi-fi broadband service that you can access in public places called hotspots. These include airports, hotels, coffee shops, motorway service stations and city centres. In return, you get access to millions of other hotspots worldwide for free. Or you can find it yourself in your app store. It's available for iPhone, iPad and Android. The app gets you online in a flash, for free, without eating into your data allowance.
By using it, you'll only ever need to log in once. After that it'll connect to a hotspot for you whenever you're in range. Remember, before you use any wi-fi network, you'll need to make sure your phone's wi-fi is turned on. If your phone's not compatible with the app, you can sign in to the BT Wi-fi network using the BT ID and password you used to activate your mobile service. When your phone sees a BT Wi-fi network, just try to access a website using the browser on your phone.
You'll then be prompted for your BT ID and password.
